Alliance Occupational Medicine has three occupational medicine facilities in the Silicon Valley that are centrally located in the heart of the business community with easy access to major freeways and roads in Santa Clara, San Jose and Milpitas. We have a keen understanding of occupational medicine, disability management, the workers' compensation system and the reporting requirements because it is all that we do.

We have a full team of medical professionals including physicians, physical therapists, certified hand therapists, chiropractors, an acupuncturist, physiatrists, an orthopedic surgeon, and a pain specialist. By offering all services on site at our facilities we are able to expedite recovery through the collaboration of multiple providers if needed and the enhanced communication provided by all working in the same facility.

We have established cooperative relationships with worker’s compensation insurance carriers, utilization review organizations and are associated with most MPN’s. We follow the ACOEM guidelines and OSHA standards in the interests of employees, employers and insurance companies. Medical treatment is driven by medical necessity rather than by our bottom line.

We understand that workers’ compensation costs can pose problems for both employers and insurance companies. The Official Medical Fee Schedule regulates the pricing for medical services required to treat work related injuries and illnesses. However, we can control the type of treatment and medical services to closely manage the costs and lost time.

At Alliance Occupational Medicine we control medical treatment costs and costs associated with lost time by:

  • Providing a diverse team of providers with experience & knowledge in occupational medicine, the ACOEM guidelines & Workers’ Compensation system.
  • Following aggressive Stay-at-Work & Return-to-Work philosophies & policies.
  • Calling employers after new injury. Our doctors return all phone calls to employers, adjusters or medical case managers.
  • Using automated software systems to maintain legible records provide faxed or e-mailed work statuses at each visit.
