Val is a registered physical therapist, is a board certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy, and is also a certified hand therapist. She founded and operated her own outpatient physical therapy facility in Cincinnati, Ohio which grew to two locations.

He received his Acupuncture Orthopedics training from Lerner Education at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also attended the Five Branches Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Cruz, the Meridian Institute College of Integrative Chinese Medicine in Monterey, and the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics as well as a Qualified Medical Evaluator. He is the Founder and President of the Foundation for Acupuncture Research. He completed his pre-requisites studies for chiropractic school at the University of Calgary, Alberta. He relocated to San Jose where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Honors at Palmer College West. Kylie has certifications from Motion Palpation Institute, ART, Graston Technique. The commitment to making chiropractic a valuable and integrated part of occupational medicine is what brought Kylie to Alliance Occupational Medicine in 2011.

James Grubinskas DC License #DC25571 has worked in occupational medicine since the late nineties. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose. Dr. Grubinskas focuses on home exercise programs and works under the direction of our primary treating providers to expedite recovery from work related injuries.

Monisha Chanan, DC License #DC26692has worked in occupational medicine since 2000. Monisha completed pre-chiropractic requirements through Cal State University in Hayward. She received her doctor of chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West. Monisha is fluent in English, East Indian Punjabe, and speaks limited Spanish.
