DOT Physical Exams, also know as DOT Medical Exam or DMV Physical Examination are required to be passed by all drivers (interstate or intrastate) every 2 years (or more frequently if required per personal medical conditions) by the federal government and conducted by a licensed healthcare professional prior to operating a commercial vehicle. Upon successful completion of DMV Medical Exam, Medical Examination Report form DL 51 and green card are issued on the spot to the driver or sent to the employer for review and further submission to DMV.
